Tuesday, August 9, 2011
1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Koret Auditorium, San Francisco Main Library (100 Larkin Street, SF)
Hosted by the San Francisco Entertainment Commission and SFPD, co-sponsored by CMAC.

The purpose of this Summit is to unveil a new online entertainment tool, share industry best practices and updates on legislation that will enhance music opportunities. Specifically, the Entertainment Commission, along with SFPD Command staff and others in the City Family, will present “PromoterSF”, San Francisco’s new database for promoters doing business in the City. There will be an opportunity to help with the City’s first Economic Impact Study of the night life sector. Plus, they will present the new Limited Live Performance Permit, created for cafes, restaurants and small venues to add more opportunities for musicians in San Francisco.

Come to meet, exchange ideas and explore opportunities for collaborations to foster vibrant and safe night life in San Francisco. The Summit is for owners and operators, promoters, security companies, artists and anyone interested in the topic.
